I had a job interview today. Nothing to do with karate - I applied for an internal vacancy for a business analyst job.
Seemed to go OK, but you can never tell can you? Won't comment any further in case Mr Kenny and Mr Poole find my site :D
The run up to the interview reminded me of past gradings. Getting ready, going through my moves, getting to the venue, settling in - and before you know it it's all over.
I didn't have to perform any kata or bunkai as part of the interview process and neither did I have to spar with the other candidates. Maybe next time eh? I believe there's an opening in accounting.
My mistake, it was the escape tunnel.
