I haven't blogged for a while - been busy on another project setting up some audio studio tools on my linux laptop. Back in business now, or at least until my midi equipment arrives...
We've had some nice training sessions this week. The kids have been brilliant and the adults have worked hard, as always. We're coming out of the winter blues now and even the web forums are starting to pick up again.
If you want to distract yourself with web forums I recommend the following:
www.shikon.com/forum
A fair amount of chat and "in-jokes" among the regulars, but there's some great discussions, articles, and updates on the state of Karate in England (which you might not want to read!) Technical discussions are very valuable. This forum covers general martial arts, karate, internal arts, MMA and philosophy/meditation and media.

Iain Abernethy's forum. Sometimes a little quiet, but is used by knowledgeable martial artists to discuss karate training, kata bunkai and "real world" experiences and applications. Keep up to date with Iain's seminars and products too.
I haven't found any other decent forum for a long time - including some of the "big name" forums that are out there. Most are populated by the white suit brigade who are more bothered about how best to clean their gi than in actual in-depth training.
